This morning, as I wrote in my journal, a conversation unfolded with Uranus, and I’m sharing it here as it’s information that can help everyone who can hear it in preparation for Uranus moving into Gemini on Saturday 25th April 2026. Uranus has been in Taurus for seven (looooong) years. The move into Gemini will change the way we think and I’m feeling the change a-coming, and very much looking forward to it (my Sun is in Aquarius, which is ruled by Uranus).
For a while now, I’ve been feeling annoyed at the voice in my head that makes my feelings bigger, and narrates on everything I do as if it is in charge rather than just talking about it. This time, in my journal, I was curious about it, rather than judging it, and I received actual answers to my questions… from Uranus, which was unexpected, but kind of cool. Enjoy!
Me: Noticing the narrative in my head is running. Anything I think of, it takes it and adds more. What is it doing?
Uranus: Imagining scenarios.
Me: Why?
Uranus: To prepare for possible actions.
Me: Why?
Uranus: It has all this power and needs to do something with it. To create.
Me: Oh.
Uranus: It can create anything. It just needs a focus. Without a focus it latches onto anything and creates from that as a starting point.
Me: Wow. I’ve been judging it as something that gets in the way.
Uranus: It can get in the way. When you feel anxious, it creates from that and your current and past experiences.
Me: I’m blown away. My feelings towards it are changing. I’ve got an immense force and I’ve been giving it menial tasks. Or even bypassing it and asking AI instead.
Uranus: AI can be useful for navigating some things and learning quickly how to do things, but yes, you’ve been treating it as you were treated at school and at work: you have an immense intelligence and creativity and you learnt to rein it in rather than let it run at full power.
Me: Wow. What would that be like?
Uranus: You’re about to find out. The thing that has held you back has been your belief system. You believed you were unworthy but that is disintegrating. You are about to step into your power. If you don’t keep pointing your focus towards what you want, it will grab anything available and make that bigger. Any feeling, any thought. This is how rumination happens. What do you want?
Me: What if I don’t know what I want?
Uranus: You do.
Me: I want an Eagle feather.
Uranus: Why?
Me: It’s highly regarded in the tribe.
Uranus: Do you really want it?
Me: No. I want a feather that is exactly perfect for my work. I want to make my healing blanket. I want to create a sculpture park but not yet. Next year. I want to do a creative supervision course. Thank you for this amazing insight. Who am I speaking to?
Uranus: God.
Me: The God? Creator of everything?
Uranus: Not exactly.
Me: Which God?
Uranus: Your God.
Me: My God? I have a God?
Uranus: Yes.
Me: Uranus?
Uranus: Yes.
Me: I thought it was going to be Jupiter.
Uranus: He’s here too.
Me: All the gods and goddesses are in me?
Uranus: Yes. And outside too.
Me: Phew.
So there we have it. We need to focus our creative attention on what we want otherwise it will run riot with what we don’t want. This may not be new news to you, but perhaps the way it’s delivered will help you as much as it helped me to really grasp the implications of this awareness. Hopefully we can notice and refocus when we’re stuck in rumination.
I actually felt astounded when it said it was God. The rational part of me was like, uh-oh, we’re going into a spiritual emergency. I was relieved to be receiving a message from Uranus instead. This, I am aware, may be too crazy-sounding for some with hyper-rational saboteurs running riot in their heads (my book, SHINE, gives lots of info on the different kinds of internal saboteurs that try to protect us in all sorts of creative, yet-hurtful-to-us-because-they’re-outmoded ways).
