And maybe need to set sail in ways yet unseen.

Have you felt the ways forward in your rush to delight?

As your heart pitter patters in the dead of night,

Take a pause,

Rest in the glow of deeds already done,

And take heed of your lessons.

Learn them well and you will see with wisdom and grace

How you might know your place.

This is your time, dear one.

The future is never gone.

Settle your desires with the power of your heart.

That’s always the place from which you must start.

Uranus in Gemini: your creativity needs a focus

This morning, as I wrote in my journal, a conversation unfolded with Uranus, and I’m sharing it here as it’s information that can help everyone who can hear it in preparation for Uranus moving into Gemini on Saturday 25th April 2026. Uranus has been in Taurus for seven (looooong) years. The move into Gemini will change the way we think and I’m feeling the change a-coming, and very much looking forward to it (my Sun is in Aquarius, which is ruled by Uranus).

New Moon in Aries: use the power of the sun

I asked Grandmother Moon what the energy of the New Moon in Aries is at 11:52 UT on Friday 17th April 2026. Here’s her response:

The golden glow of sunrise is the energy to take forward into brilliant opportunities for becoming more of who you are at your most vital.

Take the sunrise, set your intention, start your project, let your body move into action. The smallest task builds momentum and you shine as you start.

The glee, the possibility, the flicker of the great fire can drive you on, but first, begin. Begin as if life depends on you!

Emotional intelligence and authenticity

I asked the Moon, “Dear beautiful Moon, what is the energy of you being third quarter in Capricorn today and how can we harness it?” This is her reply:

Emotional intelligence is more than rooted in who you are at the heart and soul of existence.

Take your time to step into your emotions slowly, carefully noticing how they feel in the home of your body.

In this way a temple is born that can give you direct access to your freedom.

As I look at today’s astrology chart, I see there is a trine from the 3rd quarter Moon in Capricorn to Uranus in Taurus. This directly relates to authenticity coming from mastering feeling emotions in our bodies.
