The other night I had a conversation with the Spirit of Astrology (SoA) and Uranus in my journal before going to sleep. I asked questions and wrote the answers that appeared in my head. Here is the conversation:
Me: What is astrology?
SoA: A system for documenting, looking, and reflecting. A way of learning about life, the universe, nature.
Me: So the universe wants to learn about itself?
SoA: In a way, yes. To become more. To create opportunity for growth, to accentuate, to be magnificent.
Me: Why?
SoA: Who would not want that? It’s the push for authenticity, for shining.
Me: This sounds like the sun speaking.
SoA: No. The ultimate aim is to be magnificent and there are opportunities to become that by facing hardships or hurdles, and a lot of people have trouble remembering the aim of magnificence so they give in to fear or judgement, repeatedly building more work for themselves to get over in order to shine. This is why astrology exists. To help them remember who they are.
Me: What can I do to help myself and others be magnificent?
SoA: Write about what they can do.
Me: And what’s that?
SoA: Listen to Uranus.
Me: Okay. Thank you. Uranus, is there anything you would like to say to me?
Uranus: Freedom is coming. Open heart. See with curiosity. Switch lanes. Celebrate.
Me: Thank you so much!
I asked AI what Uranus’ statements might mean. AI shared this could echo Uranus entering Gemini in late Spring 2026 – a shift from Taurus focus (money, possessions, self-worth) to Gemini’s qualities of mind, perception, and ways of thinking. What do you think?
As Uranus is a huge outer planet mirroring the human collective, the message reaches beyond me. What will spark us to think differently, perceive anew? In what shocking ways?
Might we merge with AI in our bodies so that it changes us? My film, Singularity (2015), relates. Perhaps we’ll understand how related we are and change our social systems to create real community. I’m excited to find out.
“Freedom is coming” evokes revolution – like the French Revolution’s bloody coup. Yet Gemini weaves a patchwork of ideas into synthesis, birthing new societal ways.
This revolution can be quiet and thoughtful if we honour Uranus’ (often excruciating) process. Individual authenticity forges connected community. May it be so!
