When someone asked me, “are you a cat person or a dog person?” I responded: “both!” I love the friendly way dogs often approach as if you’ve come to see them alone. I also love how cats choose to be around you and leave when they’ve had enough. We can learn something from both these behaviours.
Imagine greeting all humans in an enthusiastic way that expresses absolute joy at their presence! It makes me laugh to think of it! Imagine, too, stalking off when you’ve had enough of other humans’ attention (or non attention) with no explanation. You’re done, that’s it; off you go! That makes me laugh too. What do you think?
