I asked Grandmother Moon what the energy of the New Moon in Aries is at 11:52 UT on Friday 17th April 2026. Here’s her response:

The golden glow of sunrise is the energy to take forward into brilliant opportunities for becoming more of who you are at your most vital.

Take the sunrise, set your intention, start your project, let your body move into action. The smallest task builds momentum and you shine as you start.

The glee, the possibility, the flicker of the great fire can drive you on, but first, begin. Begin as if life depends on you!

Emotional intelligence and authenticity

I asked the Moon, “Dear beautiful Moon, what is the energy of you being third quarter in Capricorn today and how can we harness it?” This is her reply:

Emotional intelligence is more than rooted in who you are at the heart and soul of existence.

Take your time to step into your emotions slowly, carefully noticing how they feel in the home of your body.

In this way a temple is born that can give you direct access to your freedom.

As I look at today’s astrology chart, I see there is a trine from the 3rd quarter Moon in Capricorn to Uranus in Taurus. This directly relates to authenticity coming from mastering feeling emotions in our bodies.
